Ronnie Verrell

More recently he played with the Sid Lawrence orchestra and on the Frank Skinner show. Worked with some of the best bands and musicians of his time, and was still an impressive drummer at 70+ years of age. Also famous for playing the Part of "Animal" in The Muppets show, when Animal had to compete against Buddy Rich in a drum battle. 

Many of us will also remember him playing at Sutton Jazz Club with Neville Dickie, and at Jazz curry nights in Stoneleigh.
