The Galleries includes a varied selection of images and slideshows devoted to a particular place or theme. Please use the menus, above, to enter. The digital shows require Javascript enabled, and in some instances a recent version of the Macromedia Flash plugin.

Items under 'Galleries' open with a page of thumbnail views in rows of three images. By clicking on a thumbnail, a page of three larger images corresponding to that row is displayed, from which access to other rows may be obtained. Some vertical scrolling may be necessary to view each set of three. A few of these scanned images have also been digitally manipulated.

If your monitor is set up correctly.....

 ... all eleven steps from white to black should be visible in the above greyscale. If this is not the case, set monitor contrast to maximum and adjust brightness levels accordingly.
